PIRACY IN WEST RIVER,

RECD

RESP 21 OCT 9

Extract from Report of Proceedings of H.M.S. "Sandpiper" dated 18th August, 1890.

MEMORANDA AND MINUTE.

Submitted, for information, with reference to my letter No.650 of 31st August, 1890.

The eight pirates referred to have been taken to Canton, where they will meet with little mercy.

Vice Admiral.
