With reference to the recent acquisition of land at Kowloon by the British Government, I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to request that the Secretary of State for the Colonies will be so good as to cause that portion of the land and anchorage indicated on the attached Chart to be, so far as the Colonial Government has the power, reserved to the Admiralty for Naval purposes.
