I have the honour to transmit the enclosed Requisition for Arms, &c., for the Police Department and to request you to be so good as to instruct the Crown Agents to take the necessary steps in the matter.
2. The expenditure is not provided in the Estimate for 1900 but will be defrayed by a special vote for $14,000.
