The Governor is strongly averse to any change in the law regarding the constitution of the Sanitary Board.
He has directed Dr. Clark to resign and has recommended Mr. Lucas.

This is on the whole satisfactory, but I hope the G.O.C. will recommend the Principal Medical Officer, and not an R.E. officer.
Ack. receipt, and inform W.O. with reference to better on 22257, that the G.O.C. will place the Sanitary Officer, to be recommended by the Military Authorities, on the Board.
