My Lords Commissioner of the Admiralty, your letter of 6th inst. Admy having had before them A 29823, desire me to request you will inform the Secretary of State that they concur in the Memorandum of the Colonial Defence Committee on the proposed construction of a road round the Island of Hongkong.
A copy of which will be forwarded to the Commander-in-Chief, China.
