With regard to paragraph 17, I beg to say that after being given more time to consider the matter, I am more than ever convinced that to make available on the section from Kennedy Tower to Aberdeen would be a grave mistake as far as the interests of the great majority of the public are concerned. I was totally unaware at the time I first wrote of the resolution, and my recommendation seemed to me the wisest and best, that it was opposed to the views of the Jubilee Committee.
