The Colony would be more likely to benefit by meeting the Admiralty on reasonable terms than by holding out for a sum no one is ever likely to give.
3. In conclusion I trust Your Excellency will see your way to letting the Admiralty have this land at a fair price, it being required entirely for the public service and never likely to be a source of gain to the Colony.
4. A tracing showing the land required is in possession of the Honourable Colonial Secretary.
