14 In regard to Rule 251 I presume that prisoners sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour may be employed at the various forms of hard labour mentioned in Rule 251 for a maximum period of ten hours a day as provided by Rule 263. You are, I trust, satisfied that this period is not too long, which is the same as that prescribed in the English rules.
