Report on Ordinances 19 of 1899.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance for the Naturalization of Yeung Chouk Hin alias Young Shun Kong."
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
OBJECTS and REASONS.
Yeung Chouk Hin alias Young Shun Kong is a native of Lung Mi To village in the district of Pun Yu in the province of Kwangtung in the Empire of China. He is the sole proprietor of the Wong Shing Sichandler's firm and is the acting partner of the Yee Sang coal firm, both of which have their premises at No. 33, Praya Central, Victoria, in this Colony.
