In reply to your despatch of 8th. instant I have the honour to inform you that I have sent Charles Bithrey to Hong-Kong in charge of Andrew Brown Hill by the S.S."Lyeemoon" leaving this today.

I enclose a draft for $20 which sum I shall be much obliged if you will pay to Andrew Brown Hill on his delivering the said prisoner into the keeping of the HongKong Police. Please get him to sign the enclosed receipt in triplicate and return the receipts to me.
