I store copies of correspondence with the Governor of Amoy. It's apparent to me that in the event of any advice from me on the question of indemnity made by the defendant, it will be with that view that we should do little than that a decision should be made on the case at the same time.
I am not clear that this office comes under our administration. The Japanese claim can best be waited for as it is abortive.
