(Pound on the Meeting House at Un Long translation forwarded on the 24th April.)

I have examined the hand writing in the books marked 21 and 28. 21 is in the hand writing of Tang Fuk, who is the younger brother of Tang Chak Hing and accountant in the Tin Shop kept by Tang Chak Hing. 28 is written by Tang Mung U, my nephew. I cannot account for the books being found in my store. They may have been thrown into my store when the people were running away. I have seen the book marked 28 before. The accounts contained in these books went through the hands of Tang Po Shan and Tang Fo Lang. Tang Fo Lang is teacher in the ancestral temple school at Ha Tsun. Tang Po Shan is a loafer. He is an opium smoker. He lives at Shek Kong Taun.

My son is named A Ngai. He is 18 years old. He is now at home. He is learning business in xy shop. My son was at Un Long. I was at Ha Tsun. I heard that my son was present with Tang Tsing Sz, Ng Ki Cheung and Ng Fung Cheung,
