In reference to the attack on Mr. Mav at Taipo Market, the names in your list agree in the main with those in my list, but I notice that two conspicuous names given by the keeper of the Temple are left out. They are
1. Man Chan Chun (42) a man of wealth and influence. He is a native of Cheung Chau. He beat the drum as a signal for attack.
Tai Hang (大坑)
2. Chan Kai (陳啟) is a native of Cheung Chau Tan who beat the drum as a signal for attack.
Among the names that I have ascertained as conspicuous for inciting the people and not among the names given to you are
1. Hau Fung Kat (侯鳳吉)
* of Ping Kong (平崗) and a man of some wealth and influence.
文鳳山
2. Man Pun Shan the son of Man Chan Chun and a native of Tai Kong.
