I beg most respectfully to apply for an

increase to my wages, now 814 a month.

I joined the Hongkong Police Force on the

24th. June, 1889 and resigned on medical certificate on the 21st.

Noventer, 1895 with a "fair" character.

My wages in the Police were $15 a month. I

Joined the General Post Office on the 1st. October, 1898 as Head

Messenger at a monthly salary of $14.

The nature of my duties entail my attendance

at the Office on ordinary days at 6.50 asm, and I am practically

en duty up to 6 or 7 p.n. daily, and on the arrival of contract

nails my hours are even longer.

I understand the Nos 1 postman is to receive

380 a month, No. 8 $15, and the rest of the postmen and messengers

$10 a month.
