Prepared and close registered for Penang and Hodane by British and German Packets; prepare and close Penang and Colombo by French Packets; close Yokohama and Tokio by American and Canadian Packets.
Deal with mails arriving from Straits, Rangoon and nether India Agent or Batavia by contract packets; assist with San Francisco registered by American Packets.
Close Adelaide and Perth by French mail and Kobe and Yokohama by French mail; has also to assist in closing mails to be forwarded by private steamers and assist in dealing with registered mails ex private steamers which have arrived during his hours of duty.
