Attends from 7 a.m. to noon or from noon to 5 p.m. on outward mail days; if on afternoon duty from 9 a.m.
Duties.-
Sorting.
Closing mails;
Postage account monthly.
BC.
Governor, Heads of Departments.
Closes mail for Singapore & Penang by British, French, and German packets; California, and Honolulu by Canadian packet; Boston by American packet.
Assists in sorting & closing mail for Shanghai by British and French packets.
Has two months Sunday duty.
