I, Hau Hang, Police Constable N°137 of the Hong Kong Police Force, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the Chinese writings hereunto attached were written by me at a house in which Wong Kwok was then residing, in Cheung King Lane, Honam, in the City of Canton, in the Kwang Jung Province of the Empire of China, on the 9th of November 1897, in the presence and to the dictation of Wong Kwok, formerly a tailor and sometime a gambling master in Victoria, Hong Kong, who was banished from the said Colony for a period of 5 years on the 31st of October 1894, and that on the 10th of November 1897, he came with me to Hong Kong and delivered them to Francis Henry May, Captain Superintendent of Police.
