This purpose was about to be prepared; it was thought better to endeavour to procure the repeal of the existing Ordinance and the re-enactment of a new one. Accordingly, the present Ordinance was prepared by the Church Body and approved by the seat holders and subscribers at the annual meeting held in January last.
Beyond the amendment already referred to, the only alterations made by this Ordinance in the existing law are those of phraseology.
