Allowances
Present Value of Pension
Dollar while on leave in England free passage out and home granted. Widow's Pension Fund allowance in lieu thereof.
Conditions
Limit of age 30. Special deduction of 4% made from salary.
Quarter, fuel, light at the rate of the present servants, uniforms to be granted but not passage out for the first year. Salary is $960, and medical attendance and medicine.
Officer signing Agreement to refund the cost of passage out in the event of not succeeding to serve in the Colony.
Deduction of one day's salary is payable for every day's absence.
On attaining the age of 55 years, only be remitted in the case of ill health.
Qualifications
Must have had training in hospitals, preferably in the Army Medical Corps.
Half Salary. No leave granted on embarkation.
Salary of Civil Servant of £60 as a contribution to the above Fund.
Full salary allowed from Date of embarkation.
His appointment can only be relinquishing within 3 years of his arrival.
The Market rate of exchange is increased to half the rate but lease in the Colony for any engagement is paid.
Bounty of £5 on completion of 10 years of service.
Maximum Salary up to $101-150 a month.
On retirement on the ground of ill health provided in gold.
Pension at 37 to the Dollar.
