During the period from 8501 - the paper on which it was submitted - having been missing for 20 years, it has not been possible to deal with this; and now that 8501 has come back, it does not appear any easier. The details of the advances, if included in his salary for the purpose of computing his pension, are nil.
It is clear from the '95 paper that his good conduct allowance, which he was receiving, was pensionable and should have been included in his pay for pension purposes. As his Pension was ultimately computed in the same way as Mr. Flood's (see su1083* her 3 of deshon 26113), it was "14/15 of the amount to which he would have been entitled under the Police Regulations had he completed 15 years service", and it was not included.
