of reconstruction which was carried out Early in 1893- The Chanlızca Muumtih Bank of India London and China had the privilege of issuing Notes in Hongkong

and the Straits Settlements, and mi 1891, the last complate year for which statisties

are availabl, it upwards of $1.380.000 in the Straits Settlements, and $1.860.000 in Hongkong.
