With reference to the last paragraph of your
letter of the 25th instant, 11,514, I am directed
by the Marquess of Salisbury to state, for the
information of Mr. Secretary Chamberlain, that the
costs of the telegrams to and from the Acting Gov-
ernor of Hong Kong relative to the "Genista" will
be refunded to your Department as soon as informa-
tion is received as to the amount.
