The Minister of the Interior, in consequence of
official reports that bubonic plague has broken out
in the Hedjaz (Arabia), in the town of Canton in
China, in the English possession of Hong Kong, and
in the Portuguese Colony of Macao; in view of the Law
of December 22nd, 1888, N 5849 (series 3a); in

view of the sanitary maritime ordinances of May 8th,
1897, N. 3 and of July 15th 1897, N. 6;
Decrees
that the above mentioned places are de-
clared infected with bubonic plague in accordance
with the said ordinances.
The Prefects of the Maritime Provinces, and the
port authorities and officials of the Kingdom are
charged with the execution of this Ordinance.
