With reference to your letter of the 26th
October 1897, No. 22874/97, respecting the negociations for
the acquisition of Mr Sharp's property at Hong Kong in
connection with the proposed Extension of the Dockyard,
J am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty
to request that these negociations may be completed at an
early date,s
so that the necessary payment may be made
before 31st March next.
