"I visited the Tung Wah Hospital this after-
noon, and was taken round the wards, etc., by Mr. Leung Chik Fan.
The condition of the Hospital is now, to my
thinking, a credit to the Colony, the improvements during the
last eighteen months being of a most marked and satisfactory
character. The Government, the Directors, and the Medical Staff
deserve considerable credit for the condition of the wards,
the apparently excellent order in which everything is kept,
and the admirable transformation that has come over the Ko
Fong Wards.

"We visited the Tung Wa Hospital this after-
noon and went round all the wards where we noticed the great
improvement that has been made by putting down wooden floors.
