ter from the Director of Public Works concerning the construc-
tion of the road between Wantsai Gap and Wongneichong Gap for
which a sum of $10,000 appears in the Estimates for 1899 under
Public Works Extraordinary chargeable to General Revenue, which
accompanied my despatch No. 291 of the 13th, instant.
