you will be good enough to move the Government that I may he
placed on the permanent staff of the Public Works Department
on the expiration of my agreement on the 30th. instant.
2. Having regard to my continuous service ex-
tending to a period of nine years and to the important duties
discharged by me during that period in all of which I be-
lieve I have given satisfaction I hope you will recommend my application to the favourable consideration of His Excellency the Acting Governor,
