We quite recognise the liberty of our Assistant Masters(under existing Agreements) to leave us at 6 months' notice, (provided that they refund a portion of the passage money expended on their behalf) but I trust that in future they may not be induced to leave a Scha which cannot afford to be repeatedly engaging new Masters; and I think that, having regard to all the circumstances, it is not in the interest of educational progress in the Colony, that they should do so

I beg to enclose a copy of our last annual Report.

Sir,

I am

Your most obedient and humble servant,

Rexford

Chairman of the Committee of the

Diocesan School and Orphanage, Hong Kong.
