Sham Yin gave evidence to the effect that Lo
Tung Chi actually asked him for bribes (Vide C.S.0.2410/97).
He did send in his resignation at my sugges-
tion as his name was on the list. Then on further investiga-
tion I found that he had been in direct communication with
San Yin over these bribes, so I took the evidence and recom-
mended his dismissal.
