WB
In accordance with instructions received from
the War Office and referring to previous correspondence on the
subject of the proposed new barracks at Gun Club Hill in which
the sanction of Your Excellency's Government to the plans was
duly obtained, I have the honour to request that Your Excellen-
cy will formally convey to me the sanction of the Colonial Go-
vernment to the transfer to the War Department of the portion
of land shewn on the tracing attached which I apprehend is all
that is necessary.
2. Referring to the Colonial Office Circulars
of 9th. June, 1890 and 30th. December 1894 detailing the condi-
tions governing the transfer of Colonial Military Lands, which
were duly accepted by the Government of Hong-Kong, I beg to
request that Your Excellency's Government will further add an
estimate of the value of the land, the acreage of which is
shewn on the tracing.
