ney to Indian Constables he would be telling lies.
I don't know who gave the money to the In-
dians, I know that bribes were paid to them. I don't know
who paid them. Perhaps Long Chi paid them. Cheung Hing Lane
did not pay money to Indians to secure Wa Lane. They both
paid. If Cheung Hing Lane paid money to a man he would go &
get the contribution from Wa Lane.
I have not had the jewellery paid back yet.
No one has promised to pay the jewellery back to me. I have
not received any reward for giving evidence in the gambling
