charge of the section in which the house was and the Inspec-

tors in charge of the Detective Staff must know of the

house. They should have known of it if any one did.

After the Chinese dinner I believe that ther

were no complaints about the Wa Lane and Cheung Hing Street

houses till the Captain Supt. of Police raided No.8 East

Street.

I had no idea that my name was on the list

that I heard had been seized. Cheng On told me of it and I

asked him if my name was on it. He said he did not know but

he did not think so.

I wish to say that I regret very much what

I said about the Captain Supt. of Police in the Supreme Court.
