Mr Lucas.
Our last information was that Captain Sterling was to be seconded in his Regiment until December next. We have had no information of this change of arrangements. I suppose all we have to do is to inform C.A that Captain Sterling is entitled to half salary from Hong Kong only up to and inclusive of 25th ult.
As he has rejoined his Regiment. I have ascertained from the Governor that they have paid him Salary up to 31st May only.
