Dr. Eitel, Head of the Education Department in the Colony, and Dr. Wright, Headmaster of Queen's College, in the hope that I may be considered qualified for the position of Assistant to one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools.
I hold the certificate of the Education Department, I am also a graduate (M.A.) of St. Peter's College, Cambridge, and a member of the Inner Temple.
I have reason to believe that Dr. Eitel thought me suitable for such a position and on the recommendation of Dr. Stewart late Colonial Secretary and previously Inspector of Schools, I was appointed to act as the Presiding Examiner at the Colonial Centre of the Cambridge Local Examinations.
