I would respectfully beg to point out that I was appointed to officiate as Medical Officer and Protector of Emigrants of Kooshtea, on the 26th April, 1869, in Bengal Government letter No. 1605 of that date, (Copy herewith annexed) and after continuous service was confirmed in that appointment in Bengal Government letter, No. 1770 of 27th July 1871, (Copy annexed) from the Sub-Division of Kooshtea.
