21. Arrangements were made during 1895 for periodical surveys by the Postmaster General and Local Auditor of the securities deposited in the vaults of the Chartered Bank of India, Australia, and China, against its note issue, and one such survey was made in October.
22. Mr Bowring left Hong Kong on promotion on 17th April, and was succeeded by Mr Knox who arrived in the Colony on 16th June.
