With reference to the letter from this
Department of the 20th ultimo, respecting the retirement of
J. R. Brass,
Prison Warder in Hong Kong, on the ground of
ill-health, I am directed by the Secretary of State to
acquaint you, for the information of Mr Secretary Chamberlain,
that the Treasury have awarded Mr Brass a gratuity of
£27.0.5. in respect of his Imperial Service.
Their
Lordships state that a deduction has been made from the
full award in view of the terms of the Medical Report.
