Spanish Ambassador at this Court

called at this Office

on the 5th instant

And Communicated confidentially the

List

in closer [to a Committee] which he said

existed at Hong Kong for the purpose

of fomenting insurrection in the Philippine Islands.

His Excellency stated that the measures taken by the Colonial Authorities at Hong Kong prevented the

Committee from Sending arms
