that the Revenue of Hongkong which Dr Ayres has been paid have been determined by the Treaty to be a Legislative Council's meaning of Act of 1892 [see 20635/96]
Treasurer shall ... so that Dr Ayres' case may presumably be dealt with under the Rules of 1892 referred to.
I don't think these Rules will make any difference to the Indian portion but that is for I.O. to decide on his pension, but that in the Hong Kong portion ...
