In continuation of our letter of the 7th instant
I have the honour to forward a copy of a telegram we have
received from the Governor of Hong Kong in which he requests
that, if possible, the number of 10 cent pieces to be sent
to the Colony fortnightly may be increased to 3,000,000.
I have to ask the early instructions of the
Secretary of State in the matter.
