I have to acknowledge your letter of the 20th instant
and in reply to inform you that as on the 17th July next you will
have exhausted all the leave to which your service entitled you
we cannot postpone later than the 1st week of June the execution
of the bond into which you are required to enter on your availing
yourself of the extra leave offered to you beyond the 17th of
July.
If, however, you have any representations to make to us
we shall be glad to hear from you by the end of this week; in the
meantime we are preparing a bond for your signature.
