Referring to your letter of the 8th June 1893 instructing us to pay Mr G.A. Yvanovich a scholarship allowance from the Government of Hong Kong for the years 1893-7,
I have the honour to enclose for the information of the Secretary of State and of the Government of Hong Kong, copies of a correspondence which we have had with Mr Yvanovich on the subject of his attendance at St Thomas' Hospital.
It will be seen that Mr Yvanovich has thrown up his scholarship and has proceeded to Lisbon, but as he does not give his address it is not possible to communicate with him.
I would add that up to the 30th September last inclusive the quarterly certificates produced by him were quite satisfactory.
I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your Obedient Servant,
