Sir,
On the 12th October 1897 during the examination of a witness named "Yeung Kai" in the Captain Superintendent's Office in the case of A. S. Macaulay in which I acted as Interpreter the said witness in addressing the Captain Superintendent did not use the designation "Tai Tau" but used "Tai Yan".
