3. Methodist Conference and not to be diverted from this use by sale or otherwise excepting for religious and charitable purposes without the previous sanction in writing of the Governor for the time being.
Subject to the above terms and conditions, which M. Musson has authority to accept, I solicit your approval for the grant of this land for the very worthy object in question. The lease will be made out in the names of the Resident Wesleyan Chaplain, the Wesleyan Minister in Hongkong, and the Chair of the Canton District of the Wesleyan Missionary Society, or the persons acting in those capacities for the time being, as Trustees for the Wesleyan Methodist Conference.
