November 9th, 1807.
REPORT ON ORDINANCE 21 OF 1807.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, An Ordinance to amend The closed houses and insanitary dwellings Ordinance, 1894, and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
The definition, as it originally stood, has been found impracticable in many cases, as it contained nothing to limit the height of any structure in which the main walls did not effect a junction with the eaves. It has therefore been considered necessary to alter the definition so that it may cover any such cases.
