I do not know of any other payments to Europeans while I was employed at the gambling house. There may have been others, but I did not hear of them.
Lam Chi ceased to employ me because he wished to engage the services of Lam Chung, who was his clansman, to take my place.
Lam Chung was formerly a Policeman.
I had no quarrel with Lam Chi. I do not know any of the European Policemen mentioned in the above statement except No. 24. No. 24 once arrested me for being abroad without a pass.
