On the parcel containing the $5 I wrote daily the Chinese character Tan. I wrote the character myself. When I wrote the character Fan I did so to show that the money was for Inspector Stanton. I do not know Inspector Stanton. Lam Chi told me to write the character Tan on the parcel for $5. I put up a parcel of $5 and wrote the character Tan on it daily and put it in the large parcel of Yeung Fat daily and kept the whole for Young Fat to fetch every five days.
On the parcel for $3 I wrote the Chinese character "bun". Lam Chi told me that that was the name of the Second Head Policeman. He told me that he was formerly an Inspector and that his name was "Kok Lua" (Note:- there are errors in Chinese.)
I made a parcel of $5 up daily and wrote on it "Lun" and put it by in Young Fat's large parcel for him to fetch every five days.
