in connection with the removal of the Female prisoner Carew to England.
The statement includes an item of £6 being remuneration due to Warder Phelps, which, it is requested, the Crown Agents be instructed to pay him when the prisoner under his custody has been safely handed over to the Home Prison authorities.
It also includes an item of £1.16 being 12 days' inconvenience money for the Wardress in charge, which should likewise be paid by the Crown Agents, who will, I presume, take the necessary steps to recover the total amount expended on this service from the Imperial Government and place it to the credit of this colony.
