Mr. J. A. dos Remedios, 4th Clerk, to be 3rd Clerk & Reference Clerk at a salary of $1200 to $1800 per annum.
Mr. J. J. dos Remedios, temporary Clerk, to be 14th Clerk at a salary of $720 per annum.
I shall be glad if you will inform me whether, on the occurrence of a vacancy in the Colonial Secretary's Department, it is proposed further to reduce the value of these appointments in accordance with the suggestions made in the Retrenchment Committee's Report.
