I. P. C. 539 Atar Singh states:-I deny receiving money. I have done duty on the beat. I don't know how my number got into the book.
I. P. C. 502 Budda Singh states:-I deny receiving any money. If he gave me money he should know my name. Anyone can know my number.
I. P. C. 685 Sunt Singh states:-I got money from him on occasions only. I got $1 each day. I did not ask him for money. He put it into my hand and said "Don't fear, anyone takes bribes" (Note-The Constable was able to reproduce the conversation in Chinese).
